“Kelsey Anderson, I love you, “ the 28-year-old tennis pro player said while also adding, “I want to spend the rest of my life with you.” He then immediately popped the question, “Will you marry me?”
The binge-watchers of the show have been waiting for the Monday episode since a short clip was released in which Graziadie was left crying alone on a Tulum beach.
Kent, on the other hand, was happy for the couple, however, she looked heartbroken. “The thing is, imagine if I can love the wrong person this much, so imagine how much I can love the right?” Kent said in a confident tone.
Season 28 of “The Bachelor” premiered in January with Graziadei meeting 32 women to find his true love. The couple got to know each other more during their one-on-one date in Spain over their love for the importance of family and traveling.
Amidst the date, Anderson opened up about her late mother’s impact on her life. She further explained her grief in thinking about her “mom not being there at the wedding,” as if she was so sure that Grazadei was about to ask her out in the end. Anderson told Grazadei that leading up to the show, her mom had sent her “signs” in the form of butterflies and her dad had also said finding love this way would be something that her mom would do, reassuring her to embark on this journey to find her connection.
The 28-year-old tennis pro said he felt like his story “wasn’t finished” after his time on “The Bachelorette” as he was more excited to see what was ahead for him as the Bachelor.
“I have been working on myself for the last couple of years and I think that is more important when it comes to finding your person. And I feel good,” he remarked.
Last week, both Anderson and Kent met Grazadei’s family and also had final dates with him. Though only Kent and Anderson were left on the show, only Anderson was chosen to enjoy a special date at the spa. Kent, who had initially lost her confidence, reassured her fate especially after she told Grazadei that she loved him, but he left without a response. Thus, she was not shocked after listening to Anderson on the day of the proposal as she shared her experience with Grazadei on their final date.
At some point, Kent and Anderson arrived in the same car to the beach, but Kent got down first and walked to Grazadei and told him how she knew she was not the chosen one. After sharing a heartbreaking goodbye to Grazadei, Kent left for the car and explained how she was proud of herself for giving her all for the experience.
