The membership-only retailer has partnered with Sesame Care to offer its members a $179 consultation package for GLP-1 weight loss medication, which includes Ozempic, Wegovy, and other drugs.

The program’s cost does not include the cost of medication, members would have to shell out additional costs to purchase the prescribed medications. JP Morgan said that the use of weight loss would drastically increase in the country, as obesity is a major concern in the US. JPM estimates that around 9% of the US population might be taking Ozempic, Wehovy, and other GLP-1 drugs by 2030.
