Gen V Star Chance Perdomo Dies At 27 In A Motorcycle Accident
Pedromo’s rep confirmed the death news of the British-American actor on Saturday saying, “With a heavy heart we share the news of the untimely death of Chance Perdomo in a motorcycle accident.” Together while confirming the news, the rep also confirmed “no other individuals were involved.”
So far, the location of the death has not been revealed by the authorities. A representative for the LA Police Department was unable to confirm whether or not his death occurred in LA.
Perdomo was well-acclaimed for the roles he played in Andre Anderson’s “Th Boys” spinoff series “Gen V.” He is also known for the role he played in Netflix’s “Chilling Adventures of Sabrina.”
In a joint statement, the Gen V producer described Chance as “an incredibly talented performer, an enthusiastic force of nature, and a very kind, lovely person.” The producer further explained how hard it was for him to write about the actor in the past tense, which according to him did not make any sense. “We are so sorry for Chance’s family and together with them, we are grieving the loss of our dear friend and colleague.”
In a separate statement, Sony Pictures Television and Amazon MGM Studios which co-produced Gen V, wrote, “We extend our heartfelt thoughts and prayers to Perdomo’s family and all who loved him. The entire Gen V family is devastated by the sudden passing of Perdomo.”
Gen V aired last September and it quickly rose to fame among the critics, earning a season 2 renewal immediately after a week of debut. However, Amazon pushed the production start date to April 2024, citing various reasons.
Though Chilling Adventures of Sabrina marked Pedromo’s first major role, the actor recently opened up about his first audition experience. It was for the part of Jughead Jone’in the American television series Riverdale. Though the role eventually went to Cole Sprouse, Perdomo said he was glad that he was so close to the role that was secured by Cole Sprouse, who he grew up watching. “To have come close and to lose it to one of the people I admire feels great,” he said at the moment.
