In the last 24 hours in India, 3,57,229 new cases of infection with the coronavirus were reported, and 3,449 patients died. Recent cases have decreased in the country for the third consecutive day.
With this, the total number of infected people in the country has crossed two crores to 2,02,82,833. Of these, 2,22,408 people have lost their lives due to this dangerous virus.
The number of active cases has increased to 34,47,133.
3.20 lakh patients recovered in the past
Talking about those who have been cured after beating the coronavirus infection, 3,20,289 patients were cured across the country in the last 24 hours.
With this, the total number of patients recovering from the epidemic has risen to 1,66,13,292. The country’s recovery rate is 81.77 per cent.
Apart from this, 16,63,742 tests were conducted across the country in the last 24 hours. Since the onset of the epidemic, 29.33 crore coronavirus tests have been conducted in the country.
These are the most affected states.
In Maharashtra, 47,71,022 people have been found infected, and 70,851 people have died.
So far, 16,64,789 people have been infected, and 5,450 deaths in Kerala, the second most affected state.
Similarly, Karnataka, with 16,46,303 cases and 16,250 deaths, and Andhra Pradesh with 11,63,994 cases and 8,207 deaths are the following two most affected states.
