In the last 24 hours in India, 3,82,315 new cases of infection with the coronavirus were reported, and 3,780 patients died. These are the highest number of deaths in a single day since the onset of the epidemic.
With this, the total number of infected people in the country has increased to 2,06,65,148. Of these, 2,26,128 people have lost their lives due to this dangerous virus.
The number of active cases has increased to 34,87,229.
3.38 lakh patients recovered in the past
3,38,315 patients were cured across the country in the last 24 hours.
With this, the total number of patients recovering from the epidemic has been 1,69,51,731. The country’s recovery rate is 81.91 per cent.
Apart from this, 15,41,299 tests were done across the country in the last 24 hours. Since the onset of the epidemic, 29.48 crore coronavirus tests have been done in the country.
These are the most affected states
48,22,902 people have been found infected, and 71,742 people have died in Maharashtra so far.
So far, 17,01,979 people have been infected, and 5,507 deaths in Kerala, the second most affected state.
Similarly, Karnataka, with 16,90,934 cases and 16,538 deaths and Andhra Pradesh, with 11,84,028 cases and 8,289 deaths, are the next two most affected states.
