The show’s plot centers on Miko Yotsuya, a high school student who possesses an astonishing and hopeless ability to view extraterrestrial creatures. After seeking assistance from a paranormal television program presenter in an attempt to put a stop to her issues, she discovers the only way to do it is to entirely disregard them as if they never existed. All of this, however, comes at the cost of increasing her anguish, as she is required to act normally despite being scared to her very core.

Just like the previous season, Season 2 is also expected to revolve around Miko Yotsuya and pick up from where Season 1 left off. At the moment, we cannot make further statements about the plot.

Mieruko Chan Recap

The pilot season of Mieruko Chan spends most of its time introducing the characters with whom viewers will spend the next twelve episodes. The first two episodes sketch the outline of this horror world, beginning with the introduction of the lead characters and ending with the world developed around them. Thus, Miko is the heroine who begins to notice ghost beings all about her one day. And this remains the season’s central theme. After spending the majority of the season focusing on her recognizing ghosts and attempting to avoid them uninjured, the finale shifts the focus.

Zen, a close friend of Miko’s, discovers that someone is annihilating the neighborhood’s cats and kittens. Miko initially accused Zen, but subsequently discovered that the cats were being attacked by the ghost of Zen’s late mother. As a result, Miko petitioned the virgin Shrine to expel the ghost permanently. Miko was left with her vision and without the assistance of the maiden Shrine at the end of the first season.
